Greene King tennanted pub, situated in the centre of the village.
If you don't like the smell of chips frying and boiling veg, this is the place for you! We are a traditional village pub at the heart of the community, not a food house. On cold winter nights, cosy up round our open fires and roast chestnuts, in summer enjoy our lovely, south facing garden to the rear of the pub.We are sports orientated, with both sky and setanta, in one bar L.C.D t.v, and a large screen in the second bar [able to show different games simultaneously]. The pool table is still only 50p per game, we also have darts, dominoes, cards, shut the box and even shuv h'penny!
The Wrestlers is marked on on the Kingfisher Walk map, take a break, call in for a drink and eat your packed lunches, either inside or out. Dogs on leads are welcome [we'll even give them a chew and a bowl of water]. During the long winter months we have occasional live music on saturday nights.
